I'm off to Seattle for 5 days!
2 1/2 days with Dad in Maltby, then 2 1/2 days with Mom in Bellingham. Hubby is staying home with the sick dog (Buster is still 15% underweight, not eating much, too weak to get up on the couch without help, and has diarrhea). We have some credit for his canceled flights so maybe we can go together later this summer.
I will be selectively breaking my diet while I'm traveling so I don't miss out on enjoying the party food and my favorite restaurants. I also don't want to be a pain for my parents to feed. I'm leaving Las Vegas at 139 pounds -- I hope I don't gain too much weight before I get back.
Now I just have to decide whether the Cinnabon at the airport should be included in this diet break. :)
Cinnabon? While there's a cupcake and baked goods renaissance going on in Seattle right now?
Go get yourself the Peanut Butter & Jelly cupcake at Trophy Cupcakes (which is only available Tue & Thurs unfortunately, maybe hit them on the way from the airport?).
And West Seattle now has the best French bakery in town, Bakery Nouveau.

Jeff, you are utterly evil.
That said, om nom nom nom.

Evil? No.
"Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself." Jacq's already there. He's just making sure she makes the most of her lapse.
It's like the difference between JFK fooling around with Marylin, as opposed to Bill Clinton with any old girl working in the office.
(Hmm... zippergate jokes, a decade old, and probably way past their "sell by" date)

I always thought Monica was kind of cute in that "slightly chubby girl next door" sense.
I was never that into Marilyn Monroe anyway.
