You are the harbinger of death, Kara Thrace. You will lead humanity to its end.

BTW, Kira's still a hottie.

I'm starting to think you need a cat.

I like how Starbuck's topped herself once again. This time she's stolen a whole goddamn base ship!

I think this show is getting a bit too religiony. Yes, it's been a part of the show from the beginning, but this season they're really laying it on thick. I'm starting to worry that their leading up to some big religious "lesson" or something for the final episode instead of a satisfying conclusion to the other storylines.

Also, I don't think Anders is long for this world. I think he's going to sacrifice himself to save or help Starbuck before she finds out that he's a Cylon.

Somehow I missed how Gaeta fucked up his leg. Musta blinked or looked away. I'll watch again Sunday.
You all know this is just leading up to where they find Earth, but Earth isn't ready for them, so next season we get a Re-Imagined Galactica 80.

You missed something big, then. Gaeta was about to jump the ship back to Galactica (against Starbuck's orders, but the crew was mutinying) and Anders shot him.

Like, did you miss the whole opening scene?
Posted by:Jacqueline | May 10, 2008 at 10:24 AM
I guess so. I thought I had the right start time, but didn't see it.
I saw the start of the mutiny last week. Helo was doing his dithering best to be loyal. I'm ready to smack one of the women though. She was ready to go home last week, but she jumps in behind Starbuck on the base ship raid.

Well, it's a good thing she's dead now and you don't have to smack her, isn't it? :(

At least the Cylons are good for something.

I think you might be confusing Seelix and Barolay. Then again, I might be confusing Seelix and Barolay. I thought Seelix was the one not too keen on sticking around, and Barolay was the one who went with Starbuck. I am, however, quite certain that it's Barolay who died on the base ship.

Yeah, I made the Seelix/Barolay mistake as well. I was upset because I kinda like Seelix as she's the knuckle-dragger made officer.

"You are the harbinger of death, Kara Thrace. You will lead humanity to its end."
I gotta figure that the Battlestar Galatica writers are subtle enough to make prophecy misleading. I wonder if the "death" of humanity is the birth of a joint human/Cylon species?
After all, the colonial fleet actually has Cylon allies now . . .
But this is all pure conjecture and I hope that it is option #3 (the one that I did not even guess at). :-)

House and Bones had major cliffhangers this week too, grr.
